About the Owner...

Joey McGlamory has worked in healthcare for 17 years and is the founder, owner & operator of Longevity Fitness. In the areas of diet & fitness there are many gimmicks that promise a “quick fix” or “overnight success” often causing frustration and ultimately leading to failure because the results do not last. Joey’s primary goal is to educate clients on how best to achieve their individual health & fitness goals efficiently and safely, making sure their results are lasting. In business since 1994 Longevity Fitness (formerly Somatic Health Solutions) offers a variety of programs specially designed to promote long-term health and well-being.
Joey specializes in Therapeutic, Sports & Rehabilitative Fitness, Core & Functional Fitness Training, and Rehabilitative & Sports Massage. He is attending Clayton College of Natural Health where he is completing the coursework for the Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition degree and his Doctorate degree in Natural Health. He carries the following certifications:

- Zen-Touch Shiatsu Technician Program – San Diego School of Healing Arts

Longevity Fitness is a mobile business with two main locations: Aaron Chiropractic & the Galleria Athletic Club. Joey’s office at Aaron Chiropractic offers a relaxing setting where clients can enjoy the benefits of Therapeutic, Sports, & Rehabilitative Massage, Reflexology, and Nutritional Counseling. The Galleria Athletic Club is a full-facility gym where Joey offers Rehab Fitness Training, Core & Functional Fitness Programs, and Individualized Training Programs. Additionally, Joey offers on-site corporate Chair Massage and Fitness Training and in-home Therapeutic Massage and Fitness Training.

Post Rehab Fitness is the development and implementation of fitness programming for clients with special population and post -rehab conditions. Post-rehab professionals assess and develop exercise programs for clients with residual functional deficits remaining after the diagnosis and treatment of acute, subacute and chronic issues by Medical Doctors, Physical Therapist, and/or Chiropractors.
Core and Functional Fitness is a program aimed at developing strength, posture, flexibility, balance, pelvic stability, speed and endurance as well as doing everyday tasks such as pulling a heavy door, hiking up a rocky trail, starting a lawnmower, carrying a child, unloading packages from the trunk of a car or reaching up and pulling down a bulky heavy box from an overhead shelf. Nutritional Counseling is educating individuals, families, children and groups on Nutrition and the critical role it plays to prevent illness and disease simply by getting the right amounts of nutrients in the foods we eat.
